7-2-20 fdl county public health officer concerned about rise in cases

The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer says Wisconsin residents need to take steps to protect themselves to prevent a full-blown outbreak of cases like some other states.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says she worries when she sees thousands of new cases daily in some states, and recent  increases in Wisconsin.  Mueller says it seems that people are ignoring warnings about physical distancing and wearing face masks.  There were two new COVID-19 cases in Fond du Lac County Wednesday.   There are 314 confirmed positive cases in the county, 14 active cases, two people hospitalized  and 290 people have recovered.
