3-25-20 lakeside park on fdl city council agenda

Commercial development at Fond du Lac’s Lakeside Park is on the agenda for tonight’s Fond du Lac city council meeting.   Councilmember Kay Miller is asking the council to consider a community survey to see how the public feels about a business group’s plan which includes building a restaurant on the lighthouse peninsula and an amphitheater, ice rink and parking lot on Oven Island.  City manager Joe Moore will also update the council on a proposed Public Safety referendum.   The council had initially planned to place a referendum on the November election ballot, but that will probably change given the cornavirus pandemic.   The  council is meeting in person in the council chambers at the city county government center. The public can attend, but there will be very limited seating.  Members of the public can also make comments via teleconference.  To participate:
