A North Fond du Lac man convicted of strangulation in a domestic incident a couple of years ago faces the same charge again with another woman. Hayden Gieschen is charged with strangulation and suffocation and false imprisonment. According to a criminal complaint in December Gieschen grabbed the mother of his child around the neck and picked her up and threw her. Later, he “placed his arms around her neck in a chokehold.” In 2017 Gieschen was convicted of strangulation and sentenced to six months in jail. The latest charges carry a maximum sentence of more than 20 years in prison.
