A state patrol trooper is credited with helping save a man’s life using CPR.  The incident happened Wednesday morning on I-41 near Church Road south of Fond du lac.    A trooper pulled an unconscious man who was not breathing from a vehicle and began CPR.  A short time later a Good Samaritan, who was a doctor, arrived at the scene and assisted with rescue breathes.  They continued CPR for approximately nine minutes until two state patrol sergeants arrived on scene and took over CPR. Fond du Lac paramedics arrived a few minutes later and transported the subject to the hospital where he regained consciousness and continues to recover.
