Rolling Meadows Golf Course hopes the third time is the charm. The county course tried to open twice earlier this spring only to be forced to shut down because of snow. Course pro Jeremiah Hoffman says after the snow and ice storm that dumped 10 inches of snow a week and a half ago, the course has reopened this week. “Overall the course was relatively dry. We didn’t have a ton of snow (this winter) so there wasn’t a lot of moisture out there to begin with,” Hoffman told WFDL news. Hoffman says the course came through the winter in great shape.
