A winter weather advisory is in effect for our listening area including Fond du Lac and Dodge counties until 3pm Tuesday with freezing rain in the forecast early Tuesday morning. National Weather Service meteorologist Sean Miller tells WFDL news that Fond du Lac and Dodge counties are in a transition zone with warmer temperatures to the south and colder temps to the north. Fond du Lac Public works director Jordan Skiff says motorists need to take it easy driving to work or school. Rosendale-Brandon, Waupun, Winnebago Lutheran Academy and Ripon schools are closed today. Other area schools are starting two hours late.
