The chairman of the Fond du lac Area Association of Commerce executive committee is thanking retired Association president Joe Reitemeyer for his years of service and says the committee may conduct a national search for a replacement. Joe Reitemeyer announced this week he was retiring for personal reasons after 30 years as president. Executive Committee chairman, Tom Schneider, says Reitemeyer provided outstanding leadership during his years on the job. Schneider says the first step is appointing an interim president while the search for a permanent replacement takes place. Schneider says the goal is to have a new president on board before the end of the year.
