The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has been busy responding to several vehicle run-offs and minor traffic crashes today. Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says blowing and drifting snow is causing visibility problems. “We have a lot of scattered slippery spots but one of the issues we’re seeing now is visibility. There’s areas where there are white-out conditions,” Olig told WFDL news. Sheriff’s deputies have responded to at least 15 vehicle run-offs and seven minor traffic crashes. Olig says slow down on your commute home this evening.
