The Fond du Lac County Board of Health will revisit a proposal to ask the state to fund a study on the impact of wind turbines on human health. In 2013 the Fond du Lac County Board approved a resolution supporting a statewide study. Funds were inserted in the state budget for a study, but later removed by the Jt. Finance committee. County executive Al Buechel says residents who live near wind turbines in Fond du Lac County still complain about how the turbines are negatively impacting their health. Buechel says he thinks the state should spend the money to do a comprehensive study. The board of health is scheduled to discuss the matter at their meeting Tuesday night.
